Day 2,3- Birthday Party Camping weekend

The last 2 days have been so amazing, yesterday we started off early and joined the school during Father Joe's morning mass. We then filmed them getting on the buses to go to the camp and we rode to the camp with them. These children are all so well behaved and they have so much respect for one another. I don't think they really understood what was in store for them.
When we got there they had McDonald's lunch and played games with Ronald himself, dancing, singing and laughing allot. The shows kept continuing until the evening, with a young magician, a couple that had a whacky dog show, the kind David Letterman would have enjoyed!. There were booths like at the PNE for prizes. Dinner was a spectacular bar b que of seafood, chicken kabobs and rice and noodles. At night the kids got dressed in traditional Thai Folklore clothing and did a show of song and dance. There was a presentation to Eric for his gift of this weekend to the kids, and a beautiful speech by Father Joe, saying how much it is appreciated by the children and not nothing happens there without their permission. He mentioned that there was a film crew (Steve and I), that he said the children had to approve of us filming before they allowed us to come.
The end of the show was by Thames and Martin, the winners of Fantasia, (similar to American Idol) The kids knew all the words and one of the girls Gug was fantastic to watch dance along with the performers.
I can go on and on about the weekend, but I think I will just add some photos.
Oh and to top it all off, I may have found my next DOP, he is local his name is Note, and he has a great eye.
